Attorneys April Glatt and TJ Walsh of the law firm Chauvel & Glatt LLP in San Mateo will be leading an interactive discussion regarding “Wage-and-Hour Discovery: Common Privacy Objections from Employers and Employees”. April and TJ are active participants in our section and focus their practice on employer-only representation, from California Labor Code compliance, employer documentation and agreements, through litigation.

Their presentation will include:  (1) a brief overview of privacy under the California Constitution; (2) objections by Employers to discovery of personnel records of other employees in representative actions (as opposed to class actions); and (3) objections by Employees to discovery of records of personal activities during working hours.

Cost: $55 for Labor/Employment section members and $65 for non-section members. Cost includes 1-hour of MCLE credit and a delicious three-course lunch.
