Join the Labor & Employment Section on Thursday, August 22, 2019 for a presentation on Lessons Learned From Workplace Investigations In The #MeToo Era by Camille Hamilton Pating, Principal and Chair of Meyers Nave’s Workplace Investigations.

The #MeToo movement caused a rapid increase in the number of workplace conduct investigations across all sectors of the economy. The presenter will discuss key takeaways and investigative best practices, including (1) creating new policies and training programs for the modern workplace, (2) investigating stale claims, (3) providing employees with skills for having honest conversations about workplace behaviors and (4) addressing #MeToo backlash, guilt by association and unintended consequences.

Camille has conducted over 150 investigations and specializes in high-profile investigations involving government officials, executives and high-level employees of public, private and non-profit organizations. She also provides training programs and helps employers create, enhance and implement Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives.

Cost: $55 for Labor/Employment section members and $65 for non-section members. Cost includes 1-hour MCLE credit and a delicious three-course lunch.
