MENTORING PROGRAM

The Women Lawyers’ Section aspires to elevate the competence, professionalism, and success of new lawyers by creating mentoring relationships between them and those who are more experienced. In the mentoring program, we encourage seasoned attorneys to provide guidance and share practical knowledge and skills with a newer attorney. The program is open to both men and women.

The exact nature of the mentoring relationship will be defined in different ways by each pair. Mentors will be free to structure the program with their mentees to meet the needs of each, as well as their available time. We request that each mentor initiate contact with his or her mentee at least once per month for 12 months.
